About CXE

CXE started in 1998 at 315 Derry Road in the town of Hudson, New Hampshire. Our primary business was the fabrication and worldwide sales of replacement control consoles for semiconductor equipment. We also refurbished semiconductor equipment for some of the biggest semiconductor manufacturers in the world. We support wafer fabrication facilities with preventative maintenance, field service and training. We grew, expanded and soon outgrew the facility in Hudson. Our clean room was only large enough for one project at a time. We were switching the clean room from console fabrication, to gas panel fabrication, to equipment refurbishment.

In 2001 we purchased a building at 100 Zachary Road in Manchester, New Hampshire. We invested time and money to renovate our new area for our needs. We installed over 2000 square feet of clean rooms. We now have separate clean rooms for equipment refurbishment, the building of control consoles and even research and development. We are currently seeking patents on Insitu bell jar cleaning and have installed our first robotic wafer loading system for a 78XX epi reactor, onto a production tool in one of the largest silicon houses in the world.

We have worked with small startup companies by selecting the correct support hardware and installing every equipment tool in the fab. Then we fingerprint each tool and supply preventative and corrective maintenance. We also purchase large and small tool sets, perform refurbishment and supply them with a warranty.

We have been very fortunate for having grown during a very difficult time in the semiconductor market. We feel our growth has been made possible by the support of our customers and associates. For this we are grateful and commit to the best support that we can provide.
